I was saved in and old fashion Church revival service at the age of 17 years old. I had a goodly and Godly heritage of being raised in a Christian home. I was marred to my wife Donna, my high school sweetheart, at nineteen and served faithfully in our church till the Lord called me to preach at the age of Thirty-three years old. I always felt like the Lord would use me in his servi ce, but just like Moses, he was preparing me for what he would have me do. One day, and Evangelist by the name of Ron Gearis, who was the President of the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry, ask if I would go with him to the Parchmin State Penitenury in Mississippi. Shortly after that prison revival, the Holy Spirit of God began to deal with my heart about being a missionary. As I communicated that with my wife, she said God had prepared her heart ten years before mine that we would be missionaries. Thank God for working in a young couple’s heart and preparing us for what he had called us to do. We will complete our Twenty-fourth year of service with the Rock of Ages Ministries the end of March 2012, the Lord will. ABOUT OUR MINISTRY Presently, I serve on the International Outreach of the Rock of Ages Ministries. The Lord has blessed us to be on five continents and eight Foreign Countries. God has given us 43 national families who labor in schools, juvenile centers, men and women adult prisons, on a daily basis. Several new countries such as Cambodia, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic have opened there doors to the Rock of Ages Ministries. The Lord blessed us to see 594 professions of faith in Ghana, West Africa, this past November and 100 professions of faith in the Philippines in January of 2012. This past year, I was ask if I would accept the Rock of Ages Deputations Director position, due to the home going of our veteran missionary, Bro. Gene Blackburn, seventy-four years of age. Along with my International Outreach, it is an honor to labor and help facilitate Thirty-five of our missionary families who are on the road in America raising their support to be full time with the Rock of Ages. Donna and I are so grateful that our passion and compassion for the souls of men and women still burns brighter in our hearts than ever before. Ps. 2:8 (What a verse!) FAMILY HISTORY Donna and I are so blessed of the Lord. All three of our children, along with their families are actively serving the Lord in their churches. We are blessed with seven grand children of whom five of the seven have already made professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our children traveled with us on the road for eleven years and lived in two different motor homes three hundred and sixty-five days a year. All of them have expressed many times, they would do it all over again. Thank the Lord that when God calls a family, it is very evident of the hand of God upon their lives.
