We have been missionaries in the Philippines for almost 40 years. Virginia came to the Philippines in 1973 as a single missionary. We met in 1975 in the Bible college here where she was a professor. We married in 1978 and our daughter, Priscilla, was born in March of 1979. Our son, Ethan, was born in 1981. God has allowed us to start four, local Baptist churches since 1979 on the outskirts of Metropolitan Manila. Currently, we have an outreach in an adjoining province and are praying about starting a work in the next few months in the town adjoining Malabon. In 1997, God led us to start a small Christian school in our church in which we now have 55 students. Many of the parents and students have been saved in its 15 years of existence. We thank God that He continues to use us to reach Filipinos with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
