Ministry Bio

Robin and I have been members of Grace Baptist Church for 22 years. I answered the call to preach in September of 1997. I immediately entered Bible College at Grace Baptist Church, which serves as the West Campus of Atlanta Baptist College of Stockbridge,GA. I later graduated from ABC with a B.A. in Pastoral Theology. During a period of twelve years, I served in many different capacities of ministry in my local church. I served two years in our Children’s Sunday School Ministry, while also serving as our Visitation/Outreach Pastor. I served one year as Jr. High Pastor, before serving the next four years as Youth Pastor. While on staff as Youth Pastor, I was also responsible for all building & grounds maintenance. After serving as Youth Pastor, I served the next two years in our Young Married Couples Ministry. The last area of ministry we had the privilege of serving in, as we began deputation, was the Bus Ministry. I was our Bus Pastor for two years. The Lord has certainly blessed us during our service in each of these areas of ministry, and has used each to train and prepare us for the work he has called us to in Cambodia. We still have much growing to do, but look to avail ourselves of every opportunity put before us to grow in the
grace & knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

                                                                         Todd’s Testimony

I grew up in church from the time I was five years old. It was at this age that my parents were saved and began to carry me to church. At the age of eight years old, I walked the isle and made a profession of faith, and again at the age of ten years old. It was not until January 28, 1984, however, at the age of thirteen, that I truly came to know Jesus as my personal Savior. I had always believed in Jesus, and knew he had died on the cross for my sins ever since the first time I made a profession of faith. But on that Saturday night, January 28, 1984 at a meeting at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, the Lord allowed me to see that it was my personal sins that put Jesus on that cross. It was Jesus that took my place and my penalty upon himself, and died just for me. What a difference HE makes when HE becomes more than just a savior, but becomes your personal SAVIOR! It would be thirteen years later, on September 16, 1997, that I would answer the Lord’s call on my life to preach the Gospel. Then in May of 2005, after spending a week in Romania on a mission trip, the Lord spoke to my heart through his Word that the foreign mission field was exactly what he had been preparing my family and me for.

                                                                          Robin’s Testimony

I went to church sporadically as a child. At the age of nine, I went to a church service with my Uncle. I remember being deeply moved and going forward at the invitation. No one asked me or showed me the plan of salvation, I just believed that Jesus was real. Years later after I met my husband Todd, we began attending Grace Baptist Church, and it was there that my heart was truly convicted that I needed a Savior to save me from my sins. Through the Word of God piercing my heart, and battling a season of doubt, I finally realized I needed to be saved. I remember the service, October 7, 1998, Pastor Preston Moore was our guest speaker, and he preached from I John 5:13 on “Proof of Your Salvation”. I let go and received the free gift of salvation. I thank God for revealing himself to me and saving my soul.
