Welcome to YES Ministries

YES Ministries ministers to families in crisis. Although jail ministries are of utmost importance, YES Ministries is not a jail or prison ministry. Rather, it ministers to the families having loved ones in jail, prison, rehabilitation centers, or who are on drugs or have mental illnesses. Often, because of society's opinions, these families, have dropped out of church because they are ashamed and devastated as a result of the actions and choices their loved one took down the road of life. The family members often feel that everyone is looking down on them because of what the wayward family member did. So, YES Ministries attempts to work with the families, striving to get them back in church and encouraging them to: Don't Give Up! Keep Going!
The desire to encourage families in crisis was laid on the hearts of Ray and Martha Crawford by the Lord as a result of a son being sentenced to prison on death row several years ago. They were devastated and felt as if no church would ever want them in their presence again. Because of God's love for them and the Lord's work through some loving, caring individuals, they were shown that there was still hope for them. It was at that point in their lives that God led them to the realization that there were many families in the same situation and in great need of help from others who truly could identify with their situation. So, God placed on their hearts to start YES Ministries in 1997 to encourage other families in crisis.
Ray and Martha travel many miles each year speaking a message of encouragement to churches, Bible conferences, camp meetings, ladies' meetings, men's groups, church youth groups, schools, and mission conferences.
